Think Beyond appoints Stephane Bazire to Senior Director

That’s why we’re delighted to welcome Stephane Bazire as our new Senior Director, joining our Lausanne office and strengthening our global capability to help organisations turn sustainability into practical, long‑term value.

Stephane arrives with more than 25 years of international experience across motorsport, tennis and major live events — a career spent not only operating at the highest level of global sport, but reshaping how events and venues can positively impact people and planet. Whether in the fastmoving world of Formula 1 or the precision driven environment of elite tennis, he has built a reputation for clarity, collaboration and delivery.

His sustainability expertise comes from the ground up. At the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya, Stephane served as Operations Director and Strategy & Sustainability Lead, helping advance the venue’s mission — Driving for a Better Future — through a balanced approach spanning environmental, sociocultural and economic impact. He played a central role in aligning operations, long-term planning and daily decision-making with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, demonstrating that sustainability is most powerful when it becomes part of everyday practice, not an isolated initiative.

More recently at Silverstone Circuit, Stephane shaped and delivered the venue’s transformation through the Shift to Zero strategy. His leadership guided the development of governance frameworks, decarbonisation pathways, improved procurement standards, and more resilient operational processes. Under his direction, Silverstone joined the UNFCCC Sport for Climate Action and Sport for Nature frameworks, achieved ISO 14001 certification, and secured FIA 3 Star Environmental Accreditation, important milestones built from detailed, hands-on work across teams, departments and partners.

What stands out most is Stephane’s ability to bring people together. He simplifies complexity, aligns diverse stakeholders around shared priorities, and helps organisations focus on the few actions that create the greatest impact. His approach is human and practical, grounded in real-world constraints and genuine collaboration.

At Think Beyond, Stephane will lead new business across Europe and beyond, building relationships with organisations seeking to embed sustainability across operations, partnerships and event delivery. He will also support clients in translating strategy into action,  ensuring ambition is matched with practical steps, measurable progress and meaningful outcomes.
