The Jockey Club appoints Think Beyond for purposeful partnerships support
The Jockey Club – the largest commercial group in Britain’s second-biggest spectator sport – has selected Think Beyond to support the organisation’s integration of social impact and partnerships.
One of the UK’s leading leisure companies – operating 15 racecourses nationwide – The Jockey Club has a long-standing mission to create a sustainable future for racing and to have a positive impact on the communities it is part of.
In addition to initiatives being delivered across every racecourse at the local level, last year Gallagher Insurance became The Jockey Club’s inaugural nationwide Community Partner. The partnership focused on delivering a series of experience days that introduced young people from all backgrounds and communities to the racing industry, broadening their horizons and providing inspiration on a wide variety of career opportunities within the sport.
Think Beyond will work with The Jockey Club to coordinate the organisation’s outstanding social impact work into a clear strategic framework and narrative to ensure maximum impact for beneficiaries, and clear communication to external audiences.
Sam Shave, Managing Partner at Think Beyond, comments: “Working with The Jockey Club is a real privilege for Think Beyond, and we look forward to helping this iconic organisation integrate and embed social impact into their commercial partnerships and activations.”
Think Beyond has developed a reputation as a leading global social impact and sustainability consultancy in the last decade having partnered with more than 20 leading rights holders, brands, teams, and leagues – including the likes of Liverpool FC, ESPN, SailGP, Rexona, Subway, The FA, World Athletics, the Premier League and the International Olympic Committee.
The company recently announced the appointment of Oliver Meade from Three UK to spearhead Think Beyond’s mission to evolve the sponsorship landscape by delivering a new proposition focused on partnerships that deliver both commercial success and significant social impact.
