Stephane Bazire is a sports marketing, major event, and venue management expert with 25+ years’ international experience across motorsport, tennis, and large-scale live events. He joins Think Beyond as Senior Director, in the Lausanne office, leading new business activities across Europe and beyond, and supporting clients to make sustainability a practical driver of performance, resilience and long-term value.

Stephane’s sustainability expertise has been built in the real world (or from the ground). He helps organisations turn strategy into action by embedding sustainability into day-to-day operations, decision-making and partnerships — transforming business as usual into operational excellence and meaningful experiences, with measurable outcomes.

A hands-on change leader, Stephane brings clarity to complex organisations: aligning teams and stakeholders behind shared priorities, translating ambition into clear objectives, and helping every collaborator to focus on what really matters — the few actions that drive the biggest impact.

Across his career, Stephane has led at the sharp end of delivery. In tennis, he served as Operations Director for various ATP and WTA tournaments, overseeing complex event operations and stakeholder management at the highest level of the sport.

In motorsport, he served as Operations Director and Strategy & Sustainability lead at the Circuit of Barcelona-Catalunya, overseeing operational delivery for Formula 1 and MotoGP while advancing the venue’s sustainability mission, “Driving for a better future,” aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and a balanced environmental, socio-cultural and economic approach.

Most recently at Silverstone Circuit, Stephane shaped and delivered the venue’s sustainability transformation, creating and implementing the “Shift to Zero” strategy across governance, infrastructure and operational delivery — including carbon footprinting and decarbonisation roadmaps, procurement, stakeholder alignment, policies and procedures. During his time, Silverstone joined the UNFCCC Sport for Climate Action framework and Sport for Nature, and achieved ISO 14001 and FIA 3-Star Environmental Accreditation Programme certifications.
