Sam Paine

Sam has over 9 years of experience working in sustainability within both the private and public sectors. Prior to joining Think Beyond, Sam spent over 5 years working at a leading independent sustainability and renewable energy consultancy in the built environment, and 2 years in an award-winning Energy Services team within a Local Authority.

During his time at Think Beyond, Sam has consulted and continues to consult with leaders in the sports industry such as Liverpool FC, SailGP, The Premier League, and Goodwood on sustainable operations, corporate energy, and carbon management strategy, ISO management system, carbon reduction plans and sustainability KPI, carbon reporting design.

Sam has a broad academic background with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from the University of Portsmouth, an MSc in Energy and Sustainability, and a PhD in Engineering, both from the University of Southampton.
